Drupal Intensive and Module Building:
(Monday through Wednesday): Walk through the process of setting up a Drupal site and discuss its parts, features, modules, concepts, and how they all work together. Learn best practices for creating an efficient, well-tuned site that's future-proof, speedy, and robust. CCK, Views and Drupal's Module System will also be reviewed. This workshop is designed for internet-savvy individuals with some technical skills who aren't too scared of a little HTML and FTPing. Previous experience with Drupal is a plus, but not required.
Theming:
(Thursday and Friday): Learn how to make a Drupal site not look like a Drupal site! Find out how to approach a Drupal theme, create a theme from a pure HTML/CSS design, work with template files, override theme functions, and
add custom variables to template files. Understand how the Drupal theme system works and discover tools and techniques for finding bugs and diagnosing errors. The theming workshop is designed for site administrators, web developers, and PHP developers fluent in HTML, CSS and PHP who have some experience with Drupal.
